The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
